Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department looking into recent burglaries

Several area residents reported thefts from their property this week, according to Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputy reports. A Woodlands Circle resident reported several thousand dollars in tools taken after a wall was damaged to gain entry into a storage shed. A golf cart was reported taken from the Cumberland Cove Golf Course. Deputies say the black 2020 Yamaha cart was valued at $2,000. A Highland Ridge Drive resident reported an $800 generator taken from a storage unit on Dunbar Road. And a Keys Road resident reported the theft of a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle valued at $8500.
