Roane State Community College will host a tailgate party on September 10, 2024, when the Lady Raiders soccer team meets the Pellissippi State Panthers for the first time.
The tailgate will take place from 4:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. ET in the faculty / staff parking lot on the Roane County Campus in Harriman. The game will be played on the temporary soccer field across from the Dunbar Building.
Students, faculty, staff, and fans are invited to attend and are asked to wear their favorite Roane State gear to the game. There is no cost for admission. Free hotdogs will be provided while supplies last. Additional activities will be available on site.
Women’s soccer is Roane State’s newest sport, having kicked off their inaugural Fall 2024 season in August. Both Pellissippi and Roane State are looking for their first conference win in the upcoming match.
Fans planning to attend the tailgate party and game on September 10 are encouraged to bring a portable chair or blanket as spectator seating will not be available.
