The first of two special calls regarding the proposed indoor recreation facility will be held this Friday. The Sports Authority of Crossville will meet at noon on September 20th in Crossville City Hall. Agenda items include a bond resolution not to exceed $40 million in Public Facility Revenue Bonds, a resolution approving an intergovernmental agreement between the city of Crossville and the Sports Authority, a resolution to approve a lease and operating agreement with the Putnam County YMCA, and a resolution to accept 8.5 acres of property from the city for use in the construction of a recreation center. The Crossville City Council will then meet in special session on Tuesday, September 24th at 10:15 AM in Crossville City Hall. Their agenda includes resolutions approving the bond issuance by the Sports Authority, and the transfer of land to the authority in addition to the City’s execution of a lease and operating agreement with the Putnam County YMCA.
