The Stone Memorial High School Panthers traveled to DeKalb County High School to play the Tigers in a Region 4 Class 4A game on Thursday. The Panthers picked up a 31-15 road win. SMHS improves to 4 and 2 overall this season, the Panthers are 2 and 1 in Region action. Friday, October 4th, the Panthers play their next game as they travel to Livingston Academy to take on the Wildcats, catch the action on Mix 99.3.

Thursday the Cumberland County High School Jets traveled to Baxter to take on the top-ranked team in the State in Class 4A, the Upperman Bees. The home team posted a 51-12 victory. The Jets are now 2 and 4 this season, 0 and 3 in Region play. Friday, October 4th, CCHS will host White County. Live coverage of the Jets next game airs live on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY.
