Vols Drop in AP Poll for First Time This Season

It was a wild weekend in college football with five teams in the top 11 being upset with one of those being the Tennessee Volunteers. A loss comes with consequences in the AP Poll and that proves to the Vols falling in the rankings for the first time this season. Due to the many upsets over the weekend Tennessee only fell four spots to #8.

The rest of the Southeastern Conference ranks as follows: #1 Texas, #5 Georgia, #7 Alabama, #9 Ole Miss, #13 LSU, #15 Texas A&M, #18 Oklahoma, #21 Missouri.
