A homeowner on Delbridge Lane in Fairfield Glade recently discovered a bullet had traveled through a bedroom window.  According to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, the bullet went through two panes of glass and a blind. The curtain appeared to stop the round from traveling any further into the home and no one was injured.  A spent handgun round was found on the carpet of the bedroom.  Authorities believe the bullet traveled quite a distance before striking the window.  Given the angle of entry and other evidence, it does not appear that there was any malicious intent and the bullet was not fired into the home on purpose.  The estimated cost to replace the window is $600.
