Lady Vols Break Century Mark as Tennessee Defeats Liberty

The Tennessee Lady Volunteers stay unbeaten in the early season as Tennessee extinguishes the Liberty Flame 109-93. It was an all-around effort from the Lady Vols, offensively breaking the century mark, and defensively forcing 25 turnovers with 17 of those being steals. Of the Lady Vols 109 points 38 of them came off of turnovers.

Four Lady Vols were able to score in double-digits with Talaysia Cooper scoring 33 points. Ruby Whitehorn, Sara Puckett, and Jewel Spear were the other three leading scorers with 13, 12, and 10 points respectively. Liberty was led by Bella Smuda in scoring with 27 points while Avery Mills scored 19 and Emily Howard rounded out the Liberty top scoring with 10.

The Tennessee Lady Volunteers have now improved to 4-0 to start the season and will be back in action on November 26th at Tennessee will play host to Western Carolina.
