Dec 5, 2024 | 11:06 AM

Local authorities are looking for the truck and driver that hit a Crossville woman’s vehicle twice and fled the scene. Around 6:30pm Wednesday (12/4/2024), the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to the parking lot of Oak Hill Baptist on Genesis Road, for a hit and run report.  The victim and her juvenile children were traveling north on Genesis when the woman says her vehicle was rear-ended by a truck in front of the church.  The victim continued onto Fred Ford Road and pulled off onto the right shoulder, where she says the suspect vehicle followed her. She stated as the truck passed her, it made contact with her vehicle again on the front driver’s side fender. She identified the truck as a grey/green color, unknown make/model, 4-door with a brush guard on the front. She stated the truck had a white license plate but was unable to identify the plate. The victim’s Toyota Sienna had rear end damage to the tailgate and bumper and scratches and dents on the front driver’s side fender.
