Update: Authorities confirm that they have found a body at the Anderson County landfill.
A landfill in Anderson County was closed Wednesday after a “possible body” was discovered on the premises. The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office was on the scene and actively investigating the situation. The Chestnut Ridge Landfill will remain closed until further notice.
