Art Gernt to serve as Mayor Pro Tem for Crossville City Council

The first session of the newest Crossville City Council was held on Tuesday with council members making several appointments. Council member Art Gernt was selected to be Mayor Pro Tem, Tiffany Adams as reappointed to the position of City Judge while seats on the Crossville Planning Commission remained the same with James Mayberry and Rob Harrison to continue to serve, however, Mayberry will be the council representative while Harrison will now be the mayor’s appointment. Council also approved the selection of Brad Doughtery to replace Jeff Freitag on the Cumberland Plateau Water Authority.
