During the regular session of the Crossville City Council on Tuesday, Crossville City Manager Valerie Hale reported an increase in sales tax revenue for the second consecutive month. Total proceeds for the latest period collected in September were at $1.03 million, up by almost $66,000 from the same time last year. For the year to date collections are at $3.15 million. Revenue from the wholesale beer tax was down for the third month in a row. Collections for the latest period were at $61,000, down by about $1800 from last year.
