Knox County Bomb Squad Called to Lawson Road Residence After Mysterious Mason Jar Discovered in Driveway

The Knox County Bomb Squad was dispatched to a Lawson Road residence in Cumberland County on December 26^th after a mysterious mason jar was found in a driveway.  The jar was discovered in the 500 block of Lawson Road and contained nails, screws, and small metal balls covered in what appeared to be a clear liquid.  The Bomb Squad determined the device to be safe. No suspects were immediately identified.
