Jackson County High School Principal, Dr. Frank Maxey Petett, Jr., and his wife, Tracy Lynn Pettet, drowned while spending the weekend in a houseboat at Dale Hollow Marina. It’s not clear how the couple ended up in the water. Their dog was found alive in the houseboat they were staying in. Foul play is not suspected. Dr. Petett was 59 and his wife was 56.
