The 5th ranked Tennessee Volunteers held the tiger last night in Baton Rouge defeating LSU 65-59.
The Vols had three players score in double digits with Zakai Zeigler leading the way with 17 points. Felix Okpara and Chaz Lanier score 15 points and 14 points respectively. Leading Louisiana State in scoring was Vyctorius Miller with 17 points. Cam Carter scored 12 for the Tigers.
The Vols improve to 23-5 this season and have a chance to be a #1 seed in the National Championship Tournament next month. Tennessee has a big test Saturday as rival Alabama comes to Rocky Top.
