Two people have been charged in Saturday’s deadly crash in Morgan County. It happened around 4:30pm on Highwy 27.
According to reports, 54-year-old Willard Gunter was driving a Ford F-250 when he crossed over the center line and struck a Nissan Rogue head-on. The driver of the Nissan, 64-year-old Bobbie Hester, was killed. A passenger in the Nissan was injured.
Gunter and his passenger, 55-year-old Randy Peavyhouse, were both injured. Gunter has been charged with vehicular homicide and DUI. Peavyhouse has been charged with drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence.
