The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating a series of vehicle burglaries and a theft of a car reported on Thursday, February 27, 2025, in the Hulon Dyer Drive/Cedar Creek Circle and Big Orange Circle/Hawkins Crawford Road areas.
The suspects, believed to be small in stature, were seen driving a White SUV. They were masked, wearing goggles, hoodies, and gloves, and at least one appeared to be armed with a semi-automatic handgun.
The investigation, so far, reveals that only unlocked vehicles were targeted, while locked ones were bypassed. Sheriff Eddie Farris urges everyone to lock their vehicles and anyone with any information relating to these crimes is asked to call the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office at (931) 528-8484.
