Coach Randy Herring has been dismissed as the Head Coach for the Cumberland County High School Lady Jet basketball program. Herring, a long-time successful coach in Cumberland County, was recently voted District 7AAA Coach of the Year. His Lady Jet team was picked to place 5th in the preseason district coach’s poll and were able to surpass that by finishing 3rd in regular season play along with taking 3rd place in the 7AAA District Tournament which allowed them to advance to the Region Tournament. Main Street Media reached out to the front office of Cumberland County High School, but there was no comment available.
