The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office reported Sunday morning that Cumberland County Animal Control Supervisor Jessica McCoy, assisted by ACO Karsen Atherton, rescued a tiny baby owl that was in danger of getting hit in the middle of the road and brought it to safety.
They called in expert help from State Park Ranger Mark Houston, who specializes in owls and owl rescues. Mark took the tiny owl into his care which has now been named “McCoy”. (Photos courtesy CCSO Facebook.)
