Friday night the Stone Memorial High School Panthers opened the season with a home win over York Institute, 28-6 the final. A lightning delay at the start of the game didn’t slow the Panthers down as they scored on their first possession and held a 14-0 advantage at the half.
Friday, August 29th, SMHS will travel to Coalfield and the Cumberland County High School Jets play at Monterey.
