#2 Tennessee Stays Unbeaten in Soccer

The #2 Tennessee Lady Vols Soccer team remains unbeaten after taking care of Western Carolina on Sunday with a 3-0 score. An even bigger feat for UT is that they have yet to allow a goal this season collecting their fifth straight clean sheet.

Tennessee’s goal scorers Sunday evening were Keaton Mitchel who scored first in the 41st minute getting her first goal of the season. Eight minutes later Reese Mattern scored her first goal of the season as well in the 49th minute. Jenna Stayart collected her second goal of the season knocking in the third goal in the 65th minute. Cayden Norris earns clean sheet number five and remains perfect in net for UT. Two Lady Vols were booked in Sundays game with Luciana Latino and Sydney Miller both earing yellow cards. That makes three Lady Vols with yellow cards this season.

#2 Tennessee moves to 5-0 on the year and has major in state road test coming in rival #15 Memphis. The #2 Lady Volunteers meet the #15 Tigers in the City of Kings on Thursday at 7:00 PM.
