The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office reports that a tree stand was found on school property Monday (12/8/2025) at South Cumberland Elementary on Lantana Road. Deputies spoke with a man who said the ladder was his but the seat portion was not. He said he would retrieve his belongings from the property. Reportedly, other people hunt there frequently and deputies will be searching the school property for more hunting equipment.
