Tuesday Stone Memorial played host to White County in a District doubleheader. Game one saw the Lady Panthers take over the top spot in the District standings as they recorded an 88-65 victory over the Warriorettes . The final game of the night also went to the home team as the Panthers beat the Warriors 70-50. SMHS was scheduled to host Lenoir City on Thursday, but those games have been cancelled. The Panthers and Lady Panthers are now set to see their next action Saturday (2/7) as they play at Clarkrange.
Cumberland County traveled to Baxter to take on the Bees and Lady Bees at Upperman High School on Tuesday. The Lady Jets fell to the Lady Bees 59-33, and the Jets dropped their game with the Bees 69-44. Friday (2/6) Cumberland County will play host to White County, it’s homecoming.
