Flash floods in East Tennessee Thursday morning killed a 64-year-old woman who was swept off her feet outside of a residence in the Centerview/Bybee community. Crews in Cocke County conducted multiple rescues of people trapped in their houses, vehicles and flood waters. Roads were washed out in numerous areas and a market and deli in Parrotsville sustained significant damage as flood waters rushed inside the building.
