The Roane County Sheriff’s Office congratulates Deputy Shayne Hurney for receiving the RCSO Life Saving Award. Earlier this year Deputy Hurney responded to an individual who was choking and correctly applied the Heimlich Maneuver, clearing the man’s airway and saving his life. (RCSO.
