Crossville City Council expected to move forward on water authority appointments

The Crossville City Council, in work session on Tuesday, agreed to place matters relative to the Cumberland Plateau Water Authority on next week’s agenda. Council will vote to approve appointments to the authority board. Under the terms of the private act forming the authority, the Mayor of Crossville will appoint three representatives from within the city limits while the Cumberland County Mayor will make appointments to represent Crab Orchard Utility District, South Cumberland Utility District, West Cumberland Utility District and the Catoosa Utility District.
