During Friday’s (12/9/2022) Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Christmas Gathering, Sheriff Casey Cox presented several awards.
Sgt. J R Hamby received the “Correction Officer of the Year” award for 2022.
Cpl. Jason Powers was awarded “Deputy of the Year” for 2022.
Deputy Scott Iles was recognized for 30 years and 3 months service to the Citizen’s of Cumberland County as he will be retiring at the end of December 2022.
Investigator David Gibson was recognized for 42 years service. Investigator Gibson is currently on medical leave and will be retiring soon.
