Crossville City Council Delays Action On Final Reading Of Budget Amendment To Purchase The Village Inn

During a Special Called Session of the Crossville City Council on Tuesday, Mayor RJ Crawford pulled an ordinance on Third Reading that would amend the budget to allow the purchase of the Village Inn to move forward. Mayor Crawford said that attorneys wanted more time to work out details in the sale. Meanwhile, City Manager Greg Wood told council that representatives of HART, Homeless Advocacy for Rural Tennessee, have been in contact with Village Inn tenants and are working to secure permanent housing for them.
