$1,300 Reward For Information Leading To Charges In Puppies Thrown Off Bridge In Morgan County

Dec 30, 2022 | 2:33 PM

A Morgan County animal shelter is offering a $1,300 reward for information leading to charges after six puppies were thrown off a bridge in Sunbright, Tennessee on Christmas Day.  The reward, which started at $1,000, is donated by supporters of the nonprofit.  MoCo Mutts Rescue Center says the little dogs were stuffed into a red tote and tossed off a bridge on Burreville Road.  All of them died except one which suffered a broken leg. That puppy has been named Survivor and is a cur-type mix between 7 to 9 weeks old.  A representative said they would have helped the puppies if they had only been asked and the neglect and abuse of animals cannot go unpunished.  MoCo Mutts Rescue Center is asking anyone with information to message the shelter on Facebook or call the shelter at 360-509-9256.
