Stone Memorial High School traveled to Upperman High School for District games on Friday. The Lady Bees, the defending State Champions, posted a 59-30 win over the Lady Panthers. In the final game of the night the Panthers, now 4 and 0 in District play, rolled to a big win over the Bees, 64-41 the final.
Also on Friday, Cumberland County High School entertained Livingston Academy in District action. The Lady Jets are now 2 and 1 in District play as they fell to the Lady Wildcats 50-24. In the final game of the night Livingston Academy’s Wildcats stayed unbeaten on the season with a 53-45 win over the Jets.
Tuesday, January 10th: SMHS plays at Macon County and CCHS will host Upperman. Catch the Panthers action on Mix 99.3 and the Jets are on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY.
