The Cumberland County High School Lady Jets fell to the Lady Bees from Upperman High School in the District 7AAA tournament semi-finals on Saturday at Tennessee Tech 40-30. Cumberland County led by 9-points early and held 13-12 advantage at the half. The Lady Jets will be back in action at Tennessee Tech on Tuesday (2/21) in the consolation game of the tournament as they play the White County Warriorettes. This game was originally scheduled for Monday. The action will tip at 7:00 and you can hear it live on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY. The Lady Jets have already secured a berth in the Region Tournament.
The Stone Memorial High School Panthers will play their first tournament game on Monday (2/20). The Panthers, the tourney’s top-seed, will take the court against the White County Warriors at 7:30. Follow the Panthers during the postseason on Mix 99.3. The first game on Monday will tip and 6:00 and will feature Upperman and Livingston Academy.
