The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office has announced David Gibson officially retired from Law Enforcement on Friday at the conclusion of a more than 40-year career. He was presented his .45 Glock sidearm by Sheriff Casey Cox, a Certificate of Recognition by Cumberland County Mayor Allen Foster, and a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition for 42 years of service from Congressman John Rose Office.
