VEC Works Through The Night And Saturday To Restore Power

Volunteer Energy Cooperative crews worked through the night and Saturday to restore outages caused by powerful storms that moved across the region.  In Cumberland County early Saturday over 5,600 customers were without power.  Before 10am,  VEC had the power back on for all but 333 with most of those outages concentrated south of I-40 and along Hwy 70 near the Cumberland/Putnam County line.
