Fairfield Glade Community Club Director of Golf, Jeff Houston, reports 26 teams participated in the 3rd County Wide Music Golf Tournament, which was held Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Heatherhurst Brae. The Tournament, which was dedicated in memory of Peg Broadcasting General Manager Jeff Shaw, raised $13,000 for Cumberland County high school band programs and elementary music programs.
Winners were:
1st Flight Dale Renton, Walt Renton, Sophie Nahod and Logan Stewart.
2nd place 1st Flight Lee Houston, Becky Leeper, Craig Leeper and Judy Rich.
2nd Flight 1st place Sid Miller, Jeani Miller, Chad Miller and Amy McCoy.
2nd Flight 2nd place Gerry Sparks, Ali Baziari, Dave Mullican and Rick Hensley.
Closest to Hole #3 Rhonda Huddleston, #7 Joan Kupp, #13 Logan Stewart, #15 Harold Schultz and #17 Leslie Letner.
Over 33 individuals and businesses sponsored the event.

I would like to thank all the players and sponsors that participated in our 3rd County Wide Music Tournament. The tournament had 26 teams enjoy the bright sunshine and the blustery winds that made the golf very difficult. $13,000 was raised for our high school band programs and our elementary music programs. Over 33 individuals and businesses sponsor the event.
