Crossville City Council votes to move forward with plans for an indoor recreation facility

The Crossville City Council, in regular session on Tuesday, approved two motions that will slowly move plans for an indoor recreation facility forward. Mayor Pro Tem Rob Harrison made the first motion hiring American Constructors as the general contractor and project manager while Council member Scot Shanks made the motion to start the process to eventually issue bonds for the project. Neither motion obligated the city to actually issue bonds nor begin construction as yet.
