On Monday, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed the Transportation Modernization Act. The measure gives each of the four TDOT regions $750 million for road projects and allows for the construction of new “Choice Lanes” which will be built through public-private partnerships. Drivers on “Choice Lanes’ will be charged a fee with pricing based on demand.
