Final reading of ordinance to purchase Village Inn property approved

The Crossville City Council approved the third and final reading to amend their budget to allow the purchase of the Village Inn property adjacent to Crossville City Hall. According to City Attorney Randy York, all paperwork is in order and the closing is expected on Monday, May 1^st.  York said the owner and former residents were complimentary of the Crossville Police Department in their efforts to assist in finding alternative housing.
