On Thursday (May 11, 2023), while the Putnam County Sheriff’s Drug Investigation Division was conducting an investigation at a local hotel, detectives observed a drug transaction involving 24-year-old Dalton Glynn Willey. During this investigation detectives recovered approximately 2.5 ounces of Heroin, approximately 1 ounce of Methamphetamine, and cash.
Authorities then conducted a probation search of Willey’s residence in Baxter, Tennessee. The search resulted in approximately 5 ounces of Methamphetamine, a handgun, and cash being seized.
Thursday night, Detectives obtained a search warrant on a second location rented by Willey where Detectives seized approximately 7.5 pounds of Methamphetamine, approximately 7 ounces of Heroin, ammunition, and a sum of cash.
Sheriff Eddie Farris said the street value of the heroin is estimated at $54,000 and the street value of the methamphetamine is approximately $272,000.
Willey was arrested and charged with Manufacture, Sell, and Delivery of Methamphetamine, Manufacture, Sell, and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
