Chapel Hill Man Dies After Bull Attack In Rutherford County

A Chapel Hill man has died after he was attacked by a bull in Rutherford County.  Joseph Young, age 55, was in a barn on Wednesday when he was severely injured by the Scottish Highland bull.  Young was airlifted to a nearby hospital where he later died. WVLT reports that an autopsy will determine his exact cause of death.  The bull was later shot and killed when it charged at a Rutherford County Sheriff’s Deputy and EMS Supervisor.
