Sevierville PD Says Vehicle Burglaries On the Rise

If you are planning a trip to the Sevierville area, police are warning that there has been an increase in vehicle burglaries, especially at night in the City.  The suspects are generally going striking in the late evening/early morning hours and checking vehicle doors to determine if they are locked. If the vehicle is unlocked, the suspects will enter and take whatever they feel is of value.  The Sevierville Police Departments reminds everyone to lock their vehicles, remove valuables, and never leave valuables in plain site. Also, try to park in well lit areas when possible.
