A pedestrian went road rage on a woman Saturday and accused her of trying to run over him. Crossville Police were dispatched to Woodmere Mall around 11am to a report of a 31-year-old man yelling and cursing at a 26-year-old woman and grabbing her car door. The woman told police she was in the travel lane in front of Threads of Hope when the man walked in front of her vehicle causing her to hit the brakes to avoid hitting him. When she parked her car at Domenic’s Ice Cream Shop, the man approached and grabbed the top of the car door while cursing and accusing her of being on the phone and failing to yield. That’s when she called police. The man later admitted to police he did not look behind him when he walked in front of her car. He also said he was sorry he closed the car door on her foot when she tried to exit. Video footage backed up the woman’s story. She did not want to press charges.
