22-Year-Old Hiker Found Dead On Lookout Mountain Friday

A 22-year-old hiker was found dead Friday on Lookout Mountain.  He had been reported missing by his father who grew concerned after his son missed a doctor’s appointment. The Hamilton County Office of Emergency Management said the father used the mobile phone app “Find My Phone” to locate his son’s cell phone at Sunset Rock which is where the deceased was found. Authorities did not immediately release the victim’s name or cause of death Friday as it was considered at active crime investigation.
