Chattanooga Teen Arrested In Sequatchie County After Allegedly Delivering 1,000 Pills Suspected To Be Fentanyl

The Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested a 17-year-old from Chattanooga after he delivered 1,000 suspected fentanyl pills to an agreed location as the result of a brief undercover operation, The Juvenile, arrested at the time of the delivery on Thursday (July 6, 2023) is now in custody and charged with possession of a schedule II substance for resale. He is awaiting a court date later this month.

Sheriff Bill Phillips said he is glad to see the dangerous drugs removed from the streets and is thankful for the continued work done by the agencies Narcotics Unit along with the assistance of the 12th Judicial District Drug Task Force and the Dunlap Police Department. (Photo courtesy Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office)
