For the sixth time in the fiscal year and for the second month in a row, Crossville sales tax receipts were over $1 million according to the Crossville City Manager who made the announcement Tuesday night. Collections for the month of April were at $1.03 million. For the year to date, collections total over $9.3 million. Revenue from the wholesale beer tax is at $719,000 for the year while income from liquor taxes remains down due to recent adjustments to the amount the city receives because of population increases.
