Utility work is set to begin this Sunday morning, July 16, 2023 on I-40 between Cumberland and Putnam Counties between 5am and 6:30am. The work will be in both directions of I-40 from Mile Marker 301 to Mile Marker 317. There will be THP assisted rolling roadblocks between Exit 301 at Monterey Highway 70 in Putnam County and Exit 317 at Highway 127 in Crossville. Motorists should be aware of personnel and equipment, reduced speed, and be prepared to stop. A rain date has been set for Sunday, July 23, 2023.
