City of Crossville moves forward with land purchase for Fire Station 2

Plans to relocate Crossville Fire Station 2, presently located on Industrial Boulevard, to an area off Interstate Drive are gaining momentum. The Crossville City Council in regular session on Tuesday approved the purchase of property for the construction of a new fire station. The 4.6 acre lot is located adjacent to the Crossville Hardwoods plant. The selling price is $694,500 and will be paid out of the city’s current fund balance.
