Crossville Police were called to 80 Miller Avenue around 5:45 Tuesday morning after a witness got into a fight with a burglary suspect. The caller said when he arrived at the business, the male was exiting the back door, which was found open. The suspect and the caller got into a physical scuffle that lasted about two minutes before the suspect stopped fighting and fled on foot. The witness then called police. A Detective found marks on the door and frame of a building on Livingston Road used for storage by JFC Kitchen and Bathroom Gallery. Damage was estimated at $200. The burglary suspect is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, with dark hair and a black jacket. The suspect had not been identified at the time of the report.
