The Tennessee Department of Health and the U.S. Department of Agriculture will air drop oral rabies vaccine packets along Tennessee’s borders with Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia, beginning Oct. 3, 2023. These packets reduce rabies in wildlife and help keep people, pets and livestock safe.
Anyone visiting Tennessee’s borders should remember to never touch these packets and keep kids and pets away from them.
