The Tennessee Department of Transportation has announced I-40 bridge inspections for Monday and Tuesday in Cumberland County.
On Monday, October 9th, from 9am to 4pm, crews will be inspecting the bridge on I-40 over Drowning Creek at Mile Marker 316. The right lane of I-40 West will be closed in the morning. The right lane of I-40 East will be closed in the afternoon. Motorists should use extreme caution in this area and prepare for possible delays.
On Tuesday, October 10th, from 9am to 4pm, crews will be inspecting the bridge on I-40 over the Obed River at Mile Marker 318. The right lane of I-40 West will be closed in the morning. The right lane of I-40 East will be closed in the afternoon. Motorists should use extreme caution in this area and prepare for possible delays.
