The Fairfield Glade Police Department in partnership with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office, Crossville Police Department, Cumberland County Sheriff Department and THP along with other local Law enforcement agencies will be conducting Sobriety Checkpoints throughout the Fairfield Glade and Cumberland County areas on Friday October 27th from 6pm until 2am in efforts to rid the roadways of impaired drivers. Checkpoints may be located on Peavine Road, US Highway 101, and State Highway 70. Officers will be paying special attention for the impaired driver that has chosen poorly and elects to drink and drive on these roadways. Working together we can rid the roads of impaired drivers. Officer’s overtime is paid through a grant with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office.
