Following a week off, both the SMHS Panthers and the CCHS Jets were back in action with Region games on Friday.
In a battle between two undefeated Region teams, the Panthers traveled to Upperman High School to take on the Bees. The home team posted a 48-6 win as the Panthers suffered their first Region loss of the season.
Cumberland County played host to Livingston Academy. The Jets had recorded wins in the last two games of the series, but this time around LA recorded a 19-7 victory.
Friday, October 27th, the regular season comes to a close as the Panthers travels to Macon County and the Jets entertain Sequoyah. Hear the Panthers on Mix 99.3. and the Jets are on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY.
